Notes:

This is no exaggeration. There was a DLC story that explained why Owain, Inigo, and Severa are in this game, yet their mission seems to go completely forgotten almost immediately seeing as how A) there is no mention of it whatsoever in the main game, B) the very next thing they do after recieving their mission is enlist in Nohr's military, and most of all, C) if the player chooses Hoshido/the third path, then the three of them will spend the entire game/half the game trying to kill Kamui, which is the exact opposite of what they are supposed to be doing.

And yes, there actually is one part in the Hoshido story where Severa says to Kamui's face that his defection to Hoshido made Camilla sad, so she's going to kill him because she thinks it'll make Camilla happy again. I s--- you not.

Oh, and as a little side note, in the third path, they join at different times, as Kamui's siblings from both sides gradually join him one by one, each of them bringing their two subordinates with them. Because of this, it is possible for Severa, Owain, and Inigo to fight and potentially kill each other. Guess what? They have absolutely no combat dialogue with each other whatsoever.
