I went from angry, to livid, to f*** ing furious as some month old indie shovelware I'd never heard of stomped all over games I love one by one, but now I just can't bring myself to give a s** anymore I even tbought and played it because people wouldn't shut up about it, and you know what? It was BORING. The gameplay was easy and dull. None of the bullet hell segments were even remotely hard, and thus it failed to be engaging. Figuring out how to spare each enemy was just common sense and took no real deductive skill. The music was kinda neat, but overall the game was at best completely average None of the games Undertale defeated were "average". They were all at the very least good, some of them being legendary examples of masterful game design, but for whatever reason, this completely average game has a fanbase that puts it up on a huge f**ing pedestal and treats it like mankind's single greatest accomplishment, and gets their panties in a f**ing twist when someone even casually suggests that it might be flawed. So they all decided to come and vote for it. Which is fine, I guess. Rallying is allowed, after all. But they could at the very least have picked a good game to throw their weight behind, not this unremarkable piece of shovelware. And on top of that, the fanbase brings it upon themselves to invade our board to either openly ridicule us or passive- aggressively taunt us with their little "inside jokes" that only "dedicated undertale fans will get. And any time someone expresses distaste, their answers are always the same. "Blinded by nostalgia", "biased against the game", you must not like quality writing". Bulls***!Your game is AVERAGE. It's not anything special, and its far from perfect. You can rally all you want, the rules say you can, but coming to our board just to taunt us and ridicule us for not blindly praising your totally unremarkable game isnt f***ing cool. But whatever, I dont care anymore. Just hurry up and get all the gloating out of your systems. That way you all can just leave when the contest is over, and the board can go back to normal.

This guy had the potential to be the bigger man and only call out the arrogant part of the Undertale fanbase, but then he blew it and insulted the whole fanbase's taste in video games. I just can't sympathise with him when he insults me for an event I took no part in.
