Guess you just now caught wind of the Pokemon Mystery Dungeons spin-off series. In a short summary without (ending up) spoiling things; They start with the player character having become a pokemon, which is determined by a personality quiz at the start of the game(which gets subverted slightly with the most recent installment, Super Mystery Dungeon). I can highly recommend to get the games for all of the MD games so far…except for one; Gates to Infinity.
