Mega Man's simple design was the result of a common Japanese style that made him the classic gaming icon he is today. Particularly, he looked cute and lovable yet badass at the same time. He's also got a very good yet simple two-toned blue color scheme that makes a nice contrast, as opposed to the fat and ugly version of him on the right that's just awkward and clashes in a way that makes it stick out like a sore thumb. Sure, there's contrast on BBAMM, but in his case, it's not done in a good way There really isn't much to be said about Classic Mega Man here, except that with cute yet badass design, an arsenal of kick-ass weapons obtained from Robot Masters, and his trusty trademark helmet, Mega Man is a beloved and classic gaming icon who is about as universally recognized as Mario himself. Okay, let's just take a minute to see what we're looking at here... a creepy, obese, middle-aged man, wearing a skintight jumpsuit, and desperately trying to look young, and has no kick-ass weapons of any sort... Now, where have we seen this before? Ah, yes: nette2.wiki ne Dearest watchers, you know Capcom f----- up when Mega Man is given a rendition that is comparable to Tingle. Now, according to the Mega Man wiki: In an interview, Yoshinori Ono, the producer of Street Fighter X Tekken states that the reason behind including Bad Box Art Mega Man and his highly exaggerated appearance instead of any other version, was due to Kem Inafune's wishes. Ono said that when he asked creator Ken Ina une d about including Rockman 2in Street Fighter X Tekken Inafune said "that's not interesting, we have seen Mega Man in fighting games before" Dear Keiji Inafune, you are f------ moron. Your idea of "asking for something original" was to downgrade such a classic gaming icon into something that's hideous, obese, and unlikable in every sense of the word? What the f--- have you been smoking, who the hell even hired you, and HOW did anyone on the development team think this was a good idea that would be well recieved?? There's a reason as to why "Capcom's dumbfuckery is phenominal" deserved its own point. First of all, around the time this atrocity was announced, Capcom has been trolling Mega Man fans, by doing things like excluding him from Marvel Vs. Capcom 3 and even canceling upcoming Mega Man games after building up hype from them. Not only that, but other Capcom franchises have been ruined as well, such as Devil May Cry and Bionic Commando. Seriously Capcom, what's with all the s----- redesigns?? But this is supposed to be a joke/parody of Mega Man1!1! If you liked this mega-assdouche, you're beyond clueless as to what's been going on. Capcom have trolled MM fans hardcore, and have made several s----- redesigns, as described higher. And to top it off, when MM fans were finally given a glimpse of hope as to what might be the blue bomber's return for a playable role, they were given this abomination instead. So no, there's nothing to like about this version of Mega Man, at least to anyone who has a sane head on their shoulders. THANKFULLY, this b------- seems to have been a one-time thing only, and it should stay that way, because this eyesore should never be used again. Also, the Classic Blue Bomber was made playable in Smash Bros. and his move set is even identical to how it is in the games! So, Capcom, you have my thanks for doing the right thing with Nintendo, but your history has not been forgotten. If you can keep making such improvements and never do any stupid s--- like this ever again, then in due time, your mistakes can hopefully be forgiven Mega Man (C) Capcom If this is a series that you are a fan of, and would like to see it return to its former days of glory, the correct thing to do isn't to accept what is has become. Complaining is the only way things are going to change. But only if enough people do it. Complain, complain, complain relentlessly to the developers, otherwise this series won't get anywhere, and will remain in the terrible, unenjoyable state that it is in.
