I will not even touch the subject itself, as I am not dumb enough to fall for it.

BUT, as for the premise itself..? Very true. People these days seem to be more intend on identifying themselves with the things they dislike/hate/disapprove rather than what they like, enjoy and promote. That is just a bad lifestyle overall, since you will ALWAYS be thinking negatively and be mad, and chances are you will change nothing. Nothing will EVER be liked by everyone, so why stress about it..? Unless it is actually harming anyone, no point in starting a Jihad against it, and I am sure Minecraft, superhero movies and Beyoncé are not harming anyone significantly.

Say what you will about them, but that is a thing fanbases are doing right: to focus their time on a thing they like. Hate them all you want, but, in the end, they are happier than you if you do.
