It really ain't that big of a deal. the-cringe-channel answered: maybe you just don't get it he got to meet the pope one of the most important and influential people alive and he used this as a chance to give him a video game he knew he wouldn't play then used it as an excuse to go up his own ass for 16 minutes straight about how it's a symbolic gesture of peace and love he squandered a chance that a lot of people would give literally anything for to try to introduce the pope to "gamer culture" this really happened in the real world that we live in, it's not some mundane f--- up like stepping on dog s--- or something, it's someone with a huge backing renowned for being an idiot being an idiot in the single most unbelievable improbable way that could ever happen if anything we're underplaying it
