right! Lord Dioooooo!! Gather around children, to hear the story of a young lady named Midler. A villain from the Stardust Crusaders arc of Jojo's Bizarre Adventure, we never actually got to see her face in the manga, a thing that carried over to the anime adaptation. The protagonists only ever get to face her Stand, The High Priestess, upon who's defeat they merely discover and unconscious Midler (as seen in the first picture). As she became a playable character in the 1999 Dreamcast/Playstation fighting game "Jojo's Bizarre Adventure: Heritage for the Future" it was obvious she would need a proper appearance. Thus Capco, the creators of the game, commissio for her for the purpose of the game (seen in the middle picture). All of Midler's future appearances used this design manga creator Hirohiko Araki to create a proper appearance This however was not the first time the fans got to see Midlers face. In the 1993 JoJo's Bizarre Adventure RPG for the Super Famicom we got to see a different design for Midler. The RPG alters certain plot points from the manga. In this case, the protagonists get attacked by The High Priestess on an airplane, rather than a submarine. Reflecting this, Midler appears as one of the airplane's stewardesses (bottom picture). This would mark not only the first time the fans got to see her face, but also the first time she had on-screen dialogue (not counting the times she spoke through her Stand) Obscure lore at its finest
