Mimikyu - I feel like some people saw this coming, though

Bewear was the Real Cinnamon roll this whole time, and everyone is making molester jokes about it.

I like Mimikyu in the anime because it contrasts the idealized version the game has given us. This mimikyu is fueled by its jealousy, the idea that no one will ever love it as much as they love pikachu. So it having freakouts at the sight of a pikachu, at least to me, makes sense, because its a constant reminder of how inferior it is. And so Mimikyu wants to Bash pikachu's face in to prove that it is the one worthy of all the love and attention.
