I can say that Jar Jar Binks possesses the ability known as "Dis is Nuten." Through it, Jar Jar is gifted the ability bend the way reality flows around him, allowing him to survive situations that no normal person should. This demonstrated several times in The Phantom Menace. The first is when Qui-Gon just happens to save him from the MTT, again when the Bongo is constantly attacked and the giant creature helps him and the two Jedi escape, twice. Once more when the cast tries to escape the blockade, R2 somehow "miraculously" saves the ship. "Dis is Nuten" is also seen on Tatoinee where young Skywalker saves Jar Jar from an impending ass kicking about to be felt by Sebulba. The ability is demonstrated one more time during the final battle in which the droid control ship is destroyed just before he and his fellow gungans are executed by the battle droids.
There are even more examples of "Dis is Nuten" throughout the Star Wars lore, but I believe this is enough to prove it's existence.
The one draw back of "Dis is Nuten" is that the weilder is cursed with constant sorrow. Seen at the end of Episode 3 where Jar Jar is the last of the episode 1 cast who isn't dead or presumed dead, and again when the Empire commits genocide on the Bartoodoian planet, the planet where his lover lived.
