About

Luigi Mangione Sex Tapes Rumor refers to an unverified rumor that Luigi Mangione, the prime suspect in the UnitedHealthcare CEO murder, filmed at least 20 "cinema-style" sex tapes. The rumor was started by the American gossip website Radar Online and saw viral spread in early March 2025 after the British tabloid Daily Mail covered it, with users posting memes and sharing fake pornographic videos and images of Mangione.

Origin

On February 28th, 2025, the American gossip website Radar Online[1] posted an article that claimed Luigi Mangione, the suspect in the December 2024 assassination of the UHC CEO Brian Thompson, made "at least 20" videos of himself having sex. The article quoted an anonymous insider who claimed that Mangione "got off on being watched" and that he "was filming everything like he was starring in his own private porno empire."

On March 3rd, 2025, the British tabloid Daily Mail[2] wrote about the rumor in an article titled "Luigi Mangione sex tape bombshell as CEO assassin suspect filmed 'at least 20' cinema-style porn videos." On that day, Daily Mail made an X[3] / Twitter post that amassed over 27.1 million views, 7,700 reposts and 35,000 likes in one day, propagating the rumor (shown below).
