I think we've got a bit of a misunderstanding on our hands.
I'm well aware of black, dark and gallows humour, but what i was saying the the clear political nature of it sort of overshadowed the grunt of it.
in essence, it was not grim enough to really be considered a joke, it looks more like snide talking points and harsh disdain.
and that's what it is

Which is boring.
You could take it in so many inventive ways, you could take it.

Also there is the personal defense is not your responsibility meme here which is a pet peeve, and that overshadowed the point
