KENSHIRO FIST OF POLARIS Kenshiro is the last loyalist survivor of the Stellar Fists, a chapter of space marines whose martial prowess not lay in skill of weapons, but in their very hands. He and his three brothers were the best of them all each claiming the most prestigious titles their chapter had to offer, using a martial art known as Hokuto Hokuto Shinken is an ancient assassination art formed during the early days of humanity on Terra. The art's power lies in channeling one's energy into a single blow and striking one of the 708 Keiraku Hiko or "Hidden Channeling Points", in the human body. This causes the victim to explode, be controlled involuntarily or oth- erwise incapacitated. It can also be used to heal certain physical and psychological wounds, such as restor ing a person's voice, eyesight or memories, though the main purpose of Hokuto Shinken is assassination. Due to its deadliness, Hokuto Shinken can only have one successor per generation according to the art's law. Students who are not chosen to inherit the succession must renounce the style voluntarily or risk having their memories erased or their fists crushed. This is due to the extreme consequences of the style I at heart. Students who've been formally trained in the art but were not chosen for the succession include Kenshiro and his three adoptive brothers. Disaster struck when their entire chapter was rocked by the power of Chaos, their battle-brothers becoming corrupt warriors that would use their venerable martial arts for selfish evil. Two of Kenshiro's brothers became fully enveloped by it, one of them beca Kenshiro's fame and title as Fist of Polaris.
