Old meme I made. Bananaman is a parody of Superman, formerly a regular of the British comic The Dandy, but he was moved to The Beano after The Dandy was cancelled. RIP British culture. Unlike most Beano & Dandy characters, Bananaman is actually known world wide due to his 1983 animated series. If you haven't seen it, go and give a watch! (Yes, I made the UK vs USA template too. If you really want me to upload the template here for you to use, just let me know...)

Watamote is about a socially awkward girl desperately trying to be popular/be the star of her own little anime thing. She's a shut in otaku, and the show is hilariously/depressingly cringe inducing.

Bojack Horseman is about a washed up, alcoholic actor who was famous for being the star of a 90s sitcom about a horse dad, but never really got a gig afterwards. The first season is about him and an author writing his biography, and goes off from there. It is hilariously/depressingly cringe inducing.

Basically they're pretty similar shows with different set ups based on the culture they were created around.
