Sonic the Hedgehog - *Insert Create a Toon theme here*

An old Disney MMO called Toontown. God, that takes me back. I'm pretty sure that was the first MMO I ever played.

The story was that there's this big city called Toontown where all kinds of cartoon animals live, and it's governed by Mickey Mouse and all his friends. One day, Scrooge McDuck built a bunch of robots called the Cogs that would handle all of the boring business stuff in Toontown so that everyone would be free to just play all day every day. But, wouldn't ya know it, the robots are faulty and immediately rebel and try to take over Toontown the very second Scrooge turns them on. Thus began a bitter war between the Cogs, who want to turn everything gray and boring like them, and the toons of Toontown, who like things the way they are thank you very much.

It always warms my heart to see a Toontown post. This game brought me joy as a child and inspired my creativity as a teenager. Even when it closed in 2013, Toontown Rewritten arrived soon after and made me feel like a kid again. While I don’t play it anymore (because it’s more fun with friends and I’m a lonely soul), I’ll always look back on the good times I had.

Sorry to get all mushy; this game means a lot to me. Also, I got a good laugh out of this post.
