Ironically the art of Sticks in this is actually fanart, http://paulicat-24.deviantart.com/art/0o-Sticks-The-Badger-o0-459405856. But yeah, it's a shame people tend to overlook the idea of good Sonic OCs existing, though with 90% of everything being crap in any fandom (Sturgeon's law) it's to be expected I guess. However, that's not to say that it should be accepted. In fact it only amplifies the ending note. For instance, the same artist who made the Sticks fanart began with art like so She even gets called out for the quality, ironic considering how good she's gotten now. But hey, guess what? She didn't delete it, she decided to keep at it cause she enjoyed doing so and likely felt she could do better if she kept at it and now she has characters that have a wide range of looks that somehow manage to come together in a unifying style.
