Reminder That The ONE And ONLY Reason That The Fandoms Are Considered "Cancer" (Even Though A Fucking Game Can't Cause Disease) Is Because The Idiots In The Vocal Minority Are For Some Reason Cherry Picked As Representing The Entire Fandom. And It's Fucking Retarded

OH YEAH
OH YEAH

Why the fuck is everyone so pessimistic about Cuphead’s prospects as a fandom? I can come up with three -no, FOUR good reasons why they won’t go bad:

1. The vast majority of these fandoms’ popularity stands on their viral value alone. BATIM, FNAF, Undertale etc. were initially completely unknown and then suddenly got popular because a bunch of YouTubers played and screamed in front of a camera. Cuphead, on the other hand, was already hyped prior to its release and cemented its fanbase from the start.
2. Cuphead is mostly gameplay-driven. And while the 30s aesthetic is certainly distinct, I doubt rubber hose animation-era characters in a particularly unforgiving game are exactly a font of amusement for underage kids.
3. Simply put, there are no characters in Cuphead relatable enough for the SJW types or any other bad seeds to peg onto. All the main characters are cartoon stereotypes of a bygone era. Modern fantards look for "quirky", possibly LGBT characters or ridiculously cute creatures who are actually edgy for them to peg upon.
4. I’ve been to Tumblr, DA, YouTube and othert sites where Cuphead is gaining popularity. And I can say with full confidence that their fans are some of the nicest guys out there at least in comparison to the shitty fandoms you listed here.

I rest my case.
