Using extremely complex glitches, however, it is possible to achieve a Scuttlebug Jamboree in Super Mario 64 DS. In his famous "SM64 - Watch for Rolling Rocks - 0.5x A Presses (Commentated)" video, Šuper Mario 64 expert pannenkoek2012 says "Note that we can't actually transport a Scuttlebug to outside of its native room - they actually get stuck at the door. So if your dream was to bring all the Scuttlebugs together for one big jamboree, I'm sorry, but it's not gonna happen." In Super Mario 64, it is in fact impossible to bring all Scuttlebugs in Hazy Maze Cave together using known glitches and exploits. FOWCR x13 However, due to being built in a completely different engine, Super Mario 64 DS features a variety of new glitches that did not exist in the original Nintendo 64 version. One of them allows rooms to remain permanently loaded if the character clips out of bounds and enters the room from the wrong side.
