That this country that sends young kids out to die have no problem with doing so. Having kids kill kids What's the purpose of it all? marched on, we were ambushed by some Cong. I was shot, and I remember the slow tal to he ground.. I dont ramember much other than fear. Pure, unaduteranad fear After I was taken, my captors would come by, and they occasionally gave me rice. For 4 years I languished in some cave off the gulf. We were beaten daily. I never dared escape, for I feared death worse than I feared the Cong Ore rary day, we were uberated 'wish l oould say iw彅glad to be liberated but l had lost all will to live. I was a broken manI began to drink, to feel happy. But now, drink to die As my liver becomes spotted, I await my death. Tha... is what Vietnam has done to me.
