On a more serious note, I think it's great that MHA seems to be tackling the long-term effects of abuse. Often when an abusive relationship is depicted in media it's treated as though just separating the abused from the abuser makes all the problems go away, and while ending the source of the abuse is a very important step, most people, especially abused children like Eri, can still suffer from long-term psychological damage even when separated from their abuser.
