Its fine. If you think like that nobody wants to be your friend anyway. If you think people who disagree with you are fundamentally your enemies, don't be surprised if they remain your enemies.

I never said you have to. And you certainly don't have to want to. But that isn't what this is saying. It is saying if you disagree on transgender laws, abortion laws, health care laws, you must hate each other and never be friends. A black man trying to befriend a KKK member is going beyond and above what you are expected to do. A democrat befriending a republican should be normal, or the country will fall apart.

And even if you disagree, I do happen to believe strongly in my second amendment rights, and can use how I feel about people trying to take my guns away to emphasize a bit with the issues of others.
