About 15 years ago, I was driving through Mississippi on a Wednesday and found one of the few comics shops in that state. Pulled into the lot, went inside with money to spend but I was severely disappointed that all the books I wanted weren't on the shelves. When he asked me if I was finding everything I wanted, I said no and asked about one in particular, due out that day. He replied, "Honestly? Creator [X] publishes *a lot* of left-wing theory that I consider to be radical. That, coupled with his public stance on certain issues, makes me personally uncomfortable. I just feel squidgy selling his stuff and helping him make money. Sorry." So I found out the first and last names of all the store's employees and their phone numbers, distributed them online, and encouraged others to openly harass them with phone calls and by bombing them online with one-star review ...just kidding.
