I think the new design completely sucks, mainly on the grounds of "If it ain't broke, don't fix it".I see no point in changing Starfire's character design so radically. I also wonder if this redesign is some kind of sign of disrespect to the original fans of the comic book. I'm also turned off by the very anorexic look of the new Starfire.I compare that to the original Starfire and I wonder if the TV show's makers are some kind of prudes who don't want female characters that look too feminine. So this huge supposedly well known controversy occurred in a single obscure forum that's probably 5+ pages into a search unless you're specifically looking for it?

Both are instances of people complaining a character doesn't look sexy enough. It's not like there was Twitter back then.
