The reason Emuparadise is shutting down is Nintendo being, quite frankly, money-hungry assholes who can't stand to see other people get muti-decade-old games "for free". So they busted out the lawyers.

They’re either supposed to bring in less significant characters to the battlefield either because they just aren’t suited for a full on fight or aren’t popular enough but have some sort of following or importance
