Doom Eternal - Doomed to miss the joke

In the gameplay footage at Quake-Con, there was a hologram speaker that was basically using 'Corporate-ese' to make the demon invasion seem like a welcome thing. The two lines that stuck to the twats bitching about this are 'Demon is an offensive term. Consider them Mortally Challenged' and 'Earth is the melting pot of the universe', which they somehow took as anti-immigration propaganda, completely missing the original point of them along with what the local surroundings looked like.
