I think the NSFW should be behind a filter by default, and you can login to remove the filter. Maybe ad revenue would be better, and the site's reputation would be better.
A neat addition would be to give lewd NSFW and eye-gouge NSFW separate thumbnails(each removable separately).

(Almost certainly too much to ask from the site that forces you to wait 8 seconds inbetween upvotes, and refreshes the countdown when done too early, but different thumbnails for male, female, and male+female NSFW would be nice. Most people aren't bi, and this doesn't hurt those either. Con is that it would be a minor burden on the image uploader, and it's hard to get people to use tags, so I can't see this happening.)

I keep reading in places that since ad revenue hasn't been doing so well, the site basically depends on people to post as much not-porn as they can just to keep this place afloat since practically no other type of content will generate as much.
