Smashing like a sailor – An entire crown in a stadium consisting of cartoon and anime characters stare wide eyed in shock as it cuts to a defeated Goku in a crater saying "I'll get my chance next time" as the camera pans to reveal the guy who defeated him. It being Popeye the Sailor Man.

Popeye sails into the battle!

One of the people in the crowd being an unsurprised Charlie Brown saying "Well who didn't see that coming?" Cue gameplay

Popeye's theme plays as gameplay of him is shown. He primarily knocks out villain characters like Bowser, uses an anchor to send Ridley flying, reveals Goku as an assist trophy, reveals a new part of Flatzone X based off the [Snoopy Tennis Game & Watch](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kPdn-LT66jY) with a Snoopy assist trophy, shows a stage based off a level in Nintendo's Popeye game with Bluto as a stage boss and demonstrates his final smash where he eats his spinach and punches his opponent sending them flying into his boat which he uses to knock them out and proceeds to unleash a flurry of punches onto his opponent ending it off with him punching them into the sun. After that it cuts to the Smash logo.

It then shows King K. Rool and his Kremling Krew sailing nearby Popeyes boat. The King and some minions swim to the ship. When they get there they see Ridley's dead body. King K Rool notice his two goons have been knocked out and widens his eyes in fear after seeing the sailor man about to punch him.
