T it's always changing in a blank of an eye. Since Yuji Naka left whatever canon Japanese Sonic had has been torn to shred because Ilzukia feels like it, that and it's easier than answering fan questions about things. This is even something game fans know is true and a lot of them can make videos on how to ixed Sonic's canon or called for a reboot, the easier solution has existed as long as the franchise existed and it's something the US and EU has been using until 1999 and beyond. But as we seen from these people the idea of using a canon that wasn't created by Japan is enough to spark rage in these people to the point they call fans of the American canon fanboys and consider us a cult when their the ones showing cult like behavior. It's like someone giving you answers to a math problem and you rage at them because they help you solve the problem you been dealing with. I know because on my last meme mentioning the American canon someone was quick to get on my case for even thinking of the idea because of some bs like "Comics to Video Games doesn't translate very well" yet Marvel and DC haven't had this problem for decades and what's funny is I was looking through Somecallmejohnny's Sonic Chronicles review and a large number of people were other in favor of a Sonic game like Satam/Archie or following the American canon or were ok with the game's storytelling and character interaction. It's kinda funny to me how Bioware (A Canadian company) prove to us that a Sonic game following the american canon CAN work while Sonic Team (A Japanese company) continue to destroy come under fire by game purist all because he mean how can you call a canon good when hat little of the Japanese canon is left with each pasting game

Oh fuck off, seriously. The Sonic canon isn't some sort of overly complicated mess that people make it out to be, it has a few errors and oddities here and there, but a few retcons and clarifications can easily fix them.
>Rivals 1 and 2 aren't canon
>Blaze's and Nega's backstories from the Rush duology are their canon one's, Silver's backstory is the one from 06
>Blaze ended up in 06 due to Sol emerald fuckery, was sent back to the present day Sol dimension with amnesia
>Mania takes place in an alternate timeline that diverges from the canon one post-S3&K
>Everyone lives on the same planet, which is the one from Unleashed
There, I fixed the Sonic canon, no drastic switching to Archie required.
