Joey TheAn1meMan Following My thoughts on the whole Goblin Slayer obsession this season: I find it hilarious how Goblin Slayer is getting the heat from both elitists and casuals this season, but for COMPLETELY different reasons. Casuals hate it because it apparently "glorifies r---" (which it absolutely doesn't; read/watch some other dark fantasy for once) Elitists hate it because it's apparently "a way-too-edgy mess of a show" (after only watching one episode... like, are y'all EVER satisfied with anime anymore?) I've read the spin-off series and I would say this series focuses on character development more than world-building. Plus, if you are a nerd for table-top games and medieval warfare, you'd appreciate the fight scenes (especially later on the story).
