so imagine how much a whole group like illumination will fuck this up when we have our first look on the eventual mario movie.

i mean sure it might be unfair to compare a whole studio with one freelance 3D artist, plus nintendo still has creative control so the changes MIGHT not be VERY outlandish.

but sometimes, it just feels that collaborative ideas would tear apart an establish artistic design (just look at live action sonic or 2017's power rangers) and will result in something that looks SOoooo out of touch with the audience's expectations. so it bugs me when one artist can keep a design consistent yet more enhanced while a whole group effort will look very, VERY, off…
