I am very upset at all of the news about ProJared and his actions. It is never acceptable nor will I ever condone any of these actions. I am saddened and hurt for all victims involved in this situation. Young fans should feel comfortable and respected when it comes to interacting with their favorite content creators. Tomorrow I will be donating $5,000 USD to each of these three charities: The Trevor Project, Futures Without Violence, and in recognition of National Mental Health Month, The National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI). I encourage you all to donate as well. You have to be careful when you have over 10 million people (or whatever his usual views are) listening to you, ears perked, ready to mob someone. That and he's been on the receiving end of scandals more times thanI can count, so he probably knows what it's like to be on the receiving end. Many people who jump onto hate trains are too simple-minded to put themselves into another person's place to see that maybe, just maybe, they need to wait for an official statement.
