When you say "Venezuela bad cause socialism" forgetting that majority of south American countries are also in critical level of poverty despite following the capitalist system.

Guys, I know we all love to go "hahaha, socialism is bad, funny", but one should not ignore all the facts about this conflict. Or else you look like a McCarthy level fanatic who believes in some imaginary world, where everything bad somehow connected to communism and socialism.

As a latino living in the border of venezuela, yeah capitalism in latin america is bad and full of poverty, but venezuela is way worse, i'd take mediocre latin capitalism over absolute economical catastrophe.
Also, in our capitalist countries social welfare programs, socialized medicine and study (even college through governement given scholarships to poor people) are prevalent, so no, we dont just have a fully capitalist system either, and as you say, we still live in critical poverty, but at least most of us have food and basic services
