GameFreak is a small indie company! Pokemon is effectively the largest multi billion dollar company on the planet, beating the likes of even Star Wars, Hello Kitty, and Disney in merchandising. Bank this: GameFreak has been re-using the same assets given to them by Creature's Inc. since 2013. In case you were holding out: hope, dashed. Speaking to Inside Gamer, Pokemon boss Junichi Masuda re-confirmed that yes, there are no plans to add the National Pokedex into Sword and Shield. Small correction: When it's said that the Pokémon Bank can store up to 3000 Pokémon (1k per Pokémon = 3mb total), Google Drive with its free 15gb of storage is not 15360 Pokémon it's actually 15 million Pokémon (or 5000 Poké Bank accounts)
