The remake deserve more success and accolade from gamer and fans.. But unfortunately, since SE decided to cater to SJW. the remake receive mediocre reception. GET WOKE, GO BROKE! For a start, f------ hell. Tifa's still got plenty big boobs. I mean don't get me wrong, I think the big boobs thing had its place in the 1990s when computer graphics were still not very sophisticated and exaggerated body features helped to differentiate characters, but in today's 4K world it's hardly an issue any more. Like I said before, I think FFVII fanboys/girls are like Shrodinger's cat insofar as they want a game that's exactly the same but completely different at the same time. And secondly, even if you still think it's so terrible, hello, this Tomb Raider game came out 6 years ago. It's not as if you haven't had enough advanced warning of what they were going to do to classic videogame characters.

When you're laughing at the few FF7 fans trying to unironically start a civil war over literal polygons on a fictional character but then yoú remember that we've yet to see the full game and see if they kept the Honey Bee keyholes scene, the Don Corneo harassing Yuffie and Elena scené, Cloud crossdressing scene and several other suggestive and/or morally loaded scenes and it finally downs on you that this is merely the first, EASIEST step to overcome - the tip of the iceberg - in what will surely be a crapload of controversial talks surrounding the time bomb that is FF7 remake's release AND all of this will happen in split intervals over several months

The issue with Tifa's outfit in FFVIIR isn't that it's bad In a vacuum, it's a nice design, and it fits the character well. But it strays too far from the look that defined the character. Let's first look at how the design of both Cloud and Tifa evolved the first time they had to undergo various changes: Tifa's clothing underwent a There's nothing inherently wrong with AC Tifa, if only for the fact her clothing went in a complete different direction In Advent Child ren, although Cloud was wearing a different outfit, it was reminiscent of his original one: change, to the point it had barely anything to do with the original design, except for keeping a white shirt under her new jacket with short sleeves than the OG Single pauldron Long dark gloves Still, one might wonder why Tifa had to go through such a drastic of clothing However elements were added, such as the popped collar, waist cape, and more belts. The problem with Tifa's outfit in VIIR is because it has a busier design ontop of the original look, it feels like an unecessarily complex evolution How the eye perceives a character can be reduced to simple shapes and colors. as base just adding more shapes and colors break the look uses of the original feel for the overall design, and so the appearance that defined the character is lost in the process as 2.0 (!) 1.0 1.0 2.0 well VIIR Tifa's is a bit as if you took a well known design, but some parts of it might be "problematic" or Tifa's original outfit considered to look silly in a modern setting, such as Superman's red trunks for instance. was simple, but the way it shaped the look of the character So you just remove them, and add more complex design elements to the original outfit, to make up for it While you may end up is what how the eye feels when trying to identify her. The new outfit adds several new shapes and colors that mess with an outfit that's still reminiscent of the original one, the look people identify the character with has now been lost in the process as well, as now the eye with perception, and although the character is still recognizable, her overall look feels close yet too different than what has a harder time identifying the character due to many new shapes and colors messing with the look used to define her. Possible fixes? The people who fell in love with the design and outfit of a character the first time will expect any iteration that takes place during the first appearance of the character to remain faithful to the original design. Or ... 71 71 It would be great for VIIR Tifa to be bound to the same rules as the rest of the cast regarding outfit design, which is to keep it the same, with only minor details and improvements required for it to work in a much more detailed visual engine.
