You know what always bothered me about part 2? No one asked Santana's name or found it written anywhere. Strohiem just decided it was cool and a Pillar Man just rolled with it. We don't know what his actual name was. When Kars talks about him he mentions him "The one you call Santana" so we never get the real name. What if his name was Kyle?
