Nonsense, Pokemon Go shows that Neither Nintendo nor The Pokemon Company need GameFreak in order to makes billions off the Pokemon brand. If I remember correctly, Pokemon Go alone made about 5% of the total profits that Pokemon has made in its entire lifetime. Plus, Pokemon is a multimedia franchise, they make money off of the trading cards, anime, toys and other official merch.

What I'm getting at is that, if Nintendo and TPC want to make money, they don't HAVE to wait for GameFreak. Pokemon sells itself regardless of when new products come out. GameFreak could have taken their time/been given more time.
GameFreak have no excuses here. BotW was a huge leap from Skyward Sword and Mario Odyssey was leagues better than 3D World. These 3 are Nintendo's biggest IP's and Pokemon makes the most money. It should be treated with the same importance, if not more, than the other 2. GameFreak should have expanded years ago to bring Pokemon up to the same quality as Odyssey and BotW

And BS, neither Nintendo or TPC need "enough resources" from GameFreak to make mobile games. Both have far more resources than GF
