A dedicated handheld While all this is just speculation, this does not excuse gamefreak for cutting pokemon in future games Their plan going forward is to have a limited roster in all future games, meanwhile all they have showing for it is re-used assets from past games and a new mechanic, that going by Mega Evolutions and Z-Moves unit that has none of the features present in the original console, it's just a handheld device. would not be brought in Next Generation games. Pokemon as a gaming franchise needs time to develop, making the games a yearly release will only give fans a subpar game that won't have life past it's launch.

I like how when they make one giant fuck up suddenly the entire community has the biggest assortment of weaponry against them, goes to show just how tolerant the pokemon community was with gamefreak for the last 20 or so years
