Dallas came into our lives in May 2016. He was a 17yr old breeder bird who was sold off. The person who adopted him tried to cage with their mated pair of tiels, but Dallas and the other male didn't get along. Dallas was forced to live alone in a smaller cage We tracked down Dallas's former breeder to get more info about him. He told us that Dallas "wasn't pet quality" because he had never been tamed. While he was in quarantine, he showed amazing intelligence and quickly adapted to sitting on knees. Dallas fell hard for Lulu, our female. He loves her so much. Lulu doesn't mind his constant advances and is still happily bird-married to Rudy, our male. We learned we could use Lulu as a training tool and Dallas quickly adapted to using baskets for transport. Basket training slowly progressed into hand taming Yesterday, for the first time in his entire life, Dallas asked a human for scratchies. It has taken 3 years of patience, consistency and love. I'm so proud of him. A year after adopting Dallas, he stepped up to a human finger for the first time ever

Help my taco fell on the floor and I'm sa.... 1 day ago Recently I logged into my old Minecraft account and found that the server I played on with my friends was still active. I had last played on it 5 years ago and I wanted to see if my builds were still there. I checked and they were still there untouched. Then I looked around the map and saw the build I forgot about it. It was a statue me and my Minecraft bestie build of us out of stone. I had forgotten about it and l almost cried. I wanted to see if my friend was still on his old Facebook account and I sent a message... HE RESPONDED. I found out that he had kids now and (he is 28 now) I saw that he lived only an hours drive away. We decided to meet up again after loosing touch with each other. I got to meet his kids and his wife (and his shiba :D) he got to meet my wife as well and now we frequently hangout. I never would have imagined that logging into my old account would lead to that. It's enough to make a grown man cry.
