He ain't wrong, tho. Twili Midna feels barely like her back in the original game. They NEEDED a spin-off (HW) to give her more to say as to show that, indeed, it's still her.

Said it before, but Princess Midna is barely in the game to actually show her personality. At the very least, you get the playful joke to Link about her beauty. Then immediately cut to her being sad that she has to leave him behind, showing that she genuinely cares about him. But saying they're different people doesn't really work.

And obviously people will like her imp form better as that's who you spend time with throughout the entire game.

Thinking on it, it could've been a cool idea to have it where, after killing Zant, Midna does revert back to her old self. Then you could go through Hyrule Castle with her and see her personality shine through her true form. Plus, it'd show her development where, after getting everything she wanted, still decides to help Link save Hyrule despite originally seeing him as a tool.

Of course, I'm also all for Midna showing up in a game again. I still seriously doubt we'll get a Twilight Princess 2 ever, but I can still hold out hope.
