Shes old and has had hundreds of babies I put empty cardboard tube pieces in with my younger spiders molting using them I can remove them for occasions such as this. As older spiders lose ability to web like they used to, they surrogate webs really make a difference. You can see the change in the spider when they feel the webbing under thier little feet. They'll crawl inside and tap their pedipalps happily. They'll butt around like they're weaving, contributing to making the web. They'll get comfortable. they'll build hammocks and sacs in them.
