Consider the intent of the developers. This is likely what the game would've looked like if the Wii were capable of handling it.

So you're saying any new graphics are "soulless?" just because there's older graphics to be compared to?

It's god damn Xenoblade Chronicles; it will never look soulless. And on top of that, it's got about a year to come out; obviously it's gonna get touched up and look even better. YOU'RE the uncultured swine here.
