Are you seriously trying to peddle a "the MSM has a Marvel bias" conspiracy with that?

Critics just gnerellay tend to have different standards to the general audiences. Which can mean that critical darlings don't resonate with the popcorn crowd which think those kind of movies are kind of boring. Or movies that are kinda "eh, it's ok" so it has mediocre review scores, but audiences enjoyed it somewhat (it wasn't amazing but worth the price of admission) and since general audiences tend to see things in only black or white, a mediocre score is seen by them that critics say the movie sucks. And then there are also mindless fans that will rate high everything they are fans of.

Reminder that Suicide Squad (27 to 59), Batman v Superman (28 to 62) and Justice League (40 to 72) also had a much higher audience score than what critics gave it. And those movies are all fucking garbage.

That and audience scores usually normalizing as time goes on…

except that it is largely the same media that were stirring-up the "Joker will cause mass shootings" nontroversy, who were then disinvited from the premiere, that are doing the bombing
