Just like in XCOM, 1% probability events do happen sometimes. Not that that excuses Huffington Posts ridiculously over-confident assessment of Clinton from 2016 when she had obvious electoral weaknesses and wasn't even particularly far ahead in national polls. It was one thing to say she was still the favourite, but making her ~99% favourite was just ignorant.
