Not just for kitty0706, but Team Fabulous's release date stamp is February 2012. A little far past it, but it's like a big sendoff for the weird web, before everything got consolidated onto a handful of websites. An era when Youtube was still weird, and low quality and had things rated in stars, and the video with the most views was evolution of dance. When weird internet humor wasn't just s--- gleaned in bite size servings from twitter, instagram and tiktok, but was strange and obtuse s--- from 4chan and ytmnd and Newgrounds was full of wacky random humor and pop culture soundclips coming out of Mario sprites. And hell, the setting itself is basically a community server, and TF2 was basically the last big FPS before shooters went the way of consoles and had everyone in tightly controlled matchmaking S---, it's f------ set on mario kart which is basically a time capsule/meme museum of the mid-to-late '00s.
