Leaks cost developers. Good games, bad games, that's not the issue. People were trusted with information, assuredly signing NDA's, and breaking said NDA comes with a penalty. This isn't the evil corporation cracking down on poor gamers. This is the repercussions of being trusted with information and abusing that trust. People signed contracts to this effect.

I'm normally not in favor of leaks as much as the next guy, but considering in this instance they were fully willing to, and nearly did, pull the wool over the Japanese crowd's eyes over the whole Dexit issue before release (again, they never released an official statement on the matter over there), I say a justice was served of sorts.
