I watched the video. The entire video was about speculation, so we don't know if this is him stating facts or just theories. His wording sounded objective, but the other hosts were treating it as speculation and he didn't seem to be bothered by it. He wasn't acting like it was impossible, either, as he kept going with the conversation about the hype around his reveal. If he knew it wasn't gonna happen, I doubt he'd react like that. And even if he was stating facts, he literally said "they approached them once". Apparently every single business deal in history went through on the first try? Come on.

I'm not gonna pretend I'm not extremely biased, but this is far from definitive.
