About
Onion-Tou (also know as Onion Head, Onion-kun, or his official name Abo) is an anthropomorphic, hyperemotive onion created by Taiwan artist Ethan Lui(Mandarin Name: 劉順龍) as part of a series of characters collectively called The Onion Club.
The Onion Club, as of May 2011, consists of four characters: Abo, Meiya, Greaser and E (pictured above, from left to right). Abo, however, is the character that is depicted the most frequently, having a near monopoly not only on fanart, but on the official Onion Club icons as well.
Onion-Tou, much like Pyong and Tuzki, is also a conspicuous character on the art website deviantArt, with over 100 PLZ icons (most of which seem to be direct copies of icons from the Onion Club site) and thousands of Onion-Tou fan images.

Legal Lawsuit
In January 2011, Ethan Lui, the original creator, sued Hong-Kong based company Fong-Do for copyright issues. The court pointed out that although Ethan is the creator and has the copyright, Fong-Do registered the trademark for Onion, therefore Ethan lost the case.
