Arin has a old school gamer philosophy of "the game should teach you its mechanics organically through gameplay".

And sure, it's great when they do. But this only really worked when games had 8 bits and 2 buttons. More complex games will expect more of you, if you don't listen then it won't feel sorry for you.

Arin is worse than that. He skips the tutorial, doesn't read the menus, skips dialog and then gets frustrated that game doesn't explain anything.
When his fuckign subreddit begs him to learn the game, give him a list telling him exactly what to do… he doesn't read it because he wants to discover the game by himself.
