I think League stopped being fun when the design for champions started to become really bland or gimmicky

like in dota 2, all heroes are different and unique from each other since they have specific roles and niches.

But in the league, they all feel the same…Except when they have a dumb, intrusive gimmick that effectively amounts to dealing damage but with more steps.
