The funny thing is that the blackface scandals happened right before the elections and Trudeau still won

Generally people I talked to who said they would still vote for him said "I will vote Liberal no matter what, simply because I don't like the Conservatives."
Sad thing is despite the fact everyone knows and most get mad at the fact Trudeau is corrupt , and has had some actual scandals he will still probably win again, until the Liberals piss people off enough to loose that loyalty vote again.
