Ten years already…

It's still kind of surreal looking back at the whole "brony" phenomenon. So many disparate and seemingly incompatible elements and demographics all managed to come together in this bizarre yet oddly compelling amalgamation. I don't think we'll ever see another pop culture phenomenon that so thoroughly and utterly blindsided the internet like FiM did, and I'm glad I was able to experience a sizeable portion of the ride (Seasons 2-6 mostly).

God, I was halfway through high school when this came on. Where does the time go?
